David survived growing up with 3 sisters. Every year we would go up to Sandy Pond for 1 or 2 weeks and our Aunt's and Grandmother rented other camps and it was a Van Zile/Holcomb free for all! As kids, the only rule was no one in the water alone...our love for all things water started here in this special place. David excelled in water skiing, and we all loved watching him drop both skis!
He was blessed to meet his beautiful wife Denise and he taught his children to also love all things in nature.
Love and miss you my little brother.

Peace my brother. My favorite memories: playing the card gam War with 6 decks of cards for days, running around the house on Larchwood Drive in our bare feet in the snow then warming up by the fireplace and sneaking into mom and dad’s room to look at our Christmas presents. My thoughts and prayers are with you all Kate (aka foosball)
