Obituary of Joseph R. Loria, Sr.

Joseph R. Loria

Passed away on August 19, 2020 at age 77, with his family by his side after a very long battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his wife, Annmarie Loria; son, Joseph “Joey” Loria; brother and sister in law Samuel and Kay Loria; sisters, Dorothy Anderson and Rosemarie Loria. He is survived by his daughter, Rosemarie Loria; brother, Gary (Sharon) Loria; sister, Rosalie Ferra; brother-in-law Bruce Anderson, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Wilmot (Sands) Cancer Center as well as Thompson Hospital. Also, a very special thanks to Emma at the lab who was very comforting during this time.

Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor (301 West Main Street, Victor, NY 14564) on THURSDAY (8/27/20) from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Face masks required. Joe’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Peace of Christ Roman Catholic Parish, formerly Saint Ambrose Church (25 Empire Blvd, Rochester NY 14609) on FRIDAY (8/28/20) at 9:30 AM.
