Obituary of Mary Pezzimenti
Mary A. Pezzimenti nee Conte
Beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Born in 1934 in Rochester, NY to the late Vincenzo and Antoinetta (Valle) Conte. Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bernard “Benny” Pezzimenti and four children: Bernard (Diane) of Massachusetts, Thomas of California, Catherine (Thomas) Kolb of Rochester, Michael (Tracy) of Webster. She is survived by six grandchildren: Daniel and Mark Pezzimenti, Madeline (Cain) Wright, Grace and Ava Pezzimenti, and Sophia Kolb.
Mary is also survived by her sister Carmella Figaro, sisters-in-law Rose Pezzimenti, Margaret Malara, and Barbara Conte, brother in law Antonio Siciliano and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is welcomed into eternity by her parents and her in-laws, Lumberto and Rosaria Pezzimenti; Her uncle George (Eleanor) Conte; her sister, Genevieve Siciliano; brothers, Frank and Anthony (Mary Ann) Conte; brothers and sisters-in-law Louis (Catherine) Siciliano, Patrick (Josephine) Loiacono, Frank Malara, Frank (Grace) Pezzimenti and Anthony Figaro; nieces Trisha Siciliano and Barbara Leary, nephew Louis Siciliano, Frank Pezzimenti, Peter Loiacono and Joe Carusotti and many cousins.
Mary and Benny were active in Victor Seniors. Mary loved her gardening club, traveling and golfing with Benny and her family. She was a wonderful grandmother who took time off work and traveled all the way to Pittsburgh, PA just to attend an afternoon for Grandparents Day at her grandsons’ school. She helped organize and attended over 50 consecutive years of Conte Christmas Eve gatherings and annual reunions of the Conte family at Letchworth State Park.
Mary’s family would like to express their gratitude to the hard working staff at Elm Manor Rehabilitation in Canandaigua who cared for Mary with love.

Due to the current pandemic, the family will have a private service and celebrate Mary’s life with a Memorial Mass at a later date.
