Obituary of Bryon T. Colaizzi

Bryon T. Colaizzi, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in Boston on April 2, 2020. Because of the pandemic, the Immediate family observed a private Burial Service on May 15, 2020 at Ascension Gardens Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held this summer, or when permitted, at a date to be announced.

Bryon was born in July 1969 to William A. and JoAnn Colaizzi in Warsaw New York. He was a graduate of York Central School, Class of 1987. He attended State University Of New York College at Oswego, graduating in 1991 with a BA, majoring in Computer Science. He spent the next 29 years in Senior Management positions of major corporations, such as, Paychex, Manning & Napier, Sigma Marketing Group, Excellus, Xerox, Biogen and Mass Blue Cross and Blue Shield assisting in innovative firm growth through performance engineering optimizations and industry best practices.

He was an avid lover of the outdoors and the environment. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing and boating. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Ben and family trips to Cape Cod.

He is survived by his wife Kimberlee Colaizzi (Schukart), a son Ben, and a daughter Tessa; his parents, William A Colaizzi and JoAnn (Wawrzycki); one brother Jeffrey Colaizzi and Aria (McKusick); 2 nephews, Teagen and Bodie; several beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
