Jeanne Ann Rivers

November 30, 1935 - May 5, 2020

Beloved friend, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Fulton, NY to the late Anna and George Forbes. Jeanne is survived by her children: Rhonda (John) Tevels, Ron (Zulia) Rivers, Lori (Chuck) Dilmore, Steven (Mary) Rivers, and Rain (Dennis) O’Dea. Her grandchildren:  Shauna, Andy (Carolyn), Megan, Brandon (Stefani), Ryan, Bridgette, Zachary, Shannon (Dustyn), and Timmy. Her greatgrandchildren: Elena, Clancy, Cora, and Raven.

After raising her children and encouraging them to follow their dreams, she did the same in the second half of her life. She graduated from three colleges as an adult student and also traveled throughout the world. Jeanne shared what she learned in life and school as an adjunct professor at Finger Lakes Community College and as a substitute teacher at Victor Central School. Strong willed and always sure of what she wanted; she passed away at home still sharp of mind surrounded by the loving support of her family near and far.

There will be no calling hours. A private celebration of life will take place at a future date. Memorial donations in memory of Jeanne can be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre Emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456-1336.
