Obituary of Mildred R. Fitzgerald

Millie peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents (Bob & Ruth Field). Millie is survived by her son, Dale (Amy) Fitzgerald and expected grandchild. Stepchildren Kelley (Chad), William (Amy). Brothers Edward (Carlinda) Field, David (Denise) Field, Gerald (Marty) Field, beloved nieces and nephews, truest friends and Vision work family. 

Millie was born July 10, 1952 in Cooperstown, NY. She worked in the auto retail industry for 25 plus years in an administrative capacity, building long lasting friendships throughout. Her lifelong passion for travel had taken her all over the country in pursuit of that elusive jackpot. She loved cardinals, photography, plants, nature and had a passion for antiques. She saved every meaningful moment from her experiences whether that be a hallmark card, ticket stub, or matchbook. Her smile and genuinely caring personality can never be replaced and will forever be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Due to the circumstances surrounding Covid-19, a Celebration of Millie’s life will be held at a later date with a memorial service to be announced. Expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
