Obituary of Theodore A. Decker

Theodore Anthony Decker, 82, of Farmington, New York passed away on April 11, 2020. 

Known and loved by everyone as "Ted" he was a hard worker and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.  He retired from the City of Rochester after 33 years.  He owned and operated his own taxi for over 50 years of his life.  He worked hard 7 days a week for the majority of his life to support his family who meant the world to him.

Ted is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Jerry Decker.  His 3 daughters Geraldine (Anthony) Cioppa of Rochester.  Sharon (John) Decker Clark of Farmington, and Karen (Angelo) Congilaro of Conway, SC.  5 grand children:  Peter Torres, Rachelle Raspaldo, Tony (Lauren) Decker, Alyssa Marsh and Hannah Congilaro.  5 great grandchildren, and  2 great great grandchildren.  1 nephew and 3 nieces.  And one beloved rescue companion, Ginger.
Ted is predeceased by his father Al Decker, Sr. His mother Josine Powers and his brother Al Decker, Jr.

This wonderful man will be greatly missed.  Everyone knew his motto in life was "more, much more than this, I did it MY WAY".

Calling hours for immediately family only.  Private burial.  Celebration of life picnic will be held in the summer.
