Obituary of Louis Wolfgang Shaffer

Mr. Shaffer passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with kidney disease.
He was born in Vienna, Austria, was a Navy Veteran and worked at Xerox for 33 years. “Wolfgang” was an original member of the infamous Skunk Works and held several patents.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marilyn (DeLorme), 3 children, Matthew (Amy) Shaffer of Green Valley, AZ, Adam (Debbie) DeLorme of Ft. Collins, CO and Matthew DeLorme of Gahanna, OH; sisters, Irene (Robert) McPheron of Edmond, OK and Deena (Robert) Lanier of Ashburn, VA.
The family would like to thank the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care in Farmington and Victor, NY for their considerate care.
A private memorial and Mass will be celebrated by the family.
