Obituary of Mary Katherine Broomfield

Victor/Saratoga Springs: Saturday, March 5, 2011, at age 92. She was predeceased by her Husband, Charles Broomfield in 1985; sister, Elizabeth Jeff. Mary is survived by her children, Mary Ann ( Richard) Adam of Saratoga Springs, William (Rebecca) Broomfield, of Dover DE; grandchildren, Teresa, Ken and Alyson; step grandson Matt, great grandchildren, Jake, Zack, Rylie & Braxton; brother, John (Anne) O'Brien; brother-in-law, Adolph Jeff; nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Victor, Mary and her husband Charles shared a strong love of family and faith which became a focus of their lives. They were members of St. Patrick's Church for over 50 years until moving to Saratoga Springs to be closer to their daughter. At St. Patrick's in Victor and later at St. Clements Catholic church in Saratoga she was an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Daughters of Charity and the Legion of Mary. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. Mary's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Patrick's Church, Victor. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery.
