Obituary of Jane Ann O'Brien

O'Brien, Jane Ann Atlanta, GA/Victor, NY: Passed away peacefully to be with our Lord after a long and courageous battle with illness on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Jane is survived by her husband, W. James O'Brien; children and spouses, Sean M. and Christine O'Brien of San Antonio, TX and Mary and Eric Calianese of Victor, NY; grandsons, Michael O'Brien and Michael James Calianese. Jane was born in Galesburg, IL on July 13, 1939 and graduated from Monticello Preparatory School in Godfrey IL. She received her degree in education at the University of Miami Florida where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Jane worked over 20 years with children and their families as a child welfare social worker. Jane made a positive impact on the lives of those blessed to have known her, leaving us with a profound appreciation for her love of family, friends, life and her god. A graveside committal service will begin Wednesday at 12 noon at St. Patrick's Cemetery, High Street, Victor, followed by a brunch with location and directions given at graveside.
