Paxton H. Maffett "Packy"

Nov. 16, 2017. Predeceased by sisters Lois Jacques & Dora Terena; brothers David, Paul, & Charles.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Gail; children Timmy, Tommy (Judy), Bonnie (Walt), Katherine, & Andrew (Karen); step children Jody (Laura), Joni (Erle), Julie (Jerry), & Jeffrey; brothers Jimmy (Jackie) & Adrian; sisters-in-law Carol & Jenny; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.

Packy was a Rochester Firefighter, retiring as Battalion Chief. He was President of Rochester, Pittsford & Henrietta Art Clubs. As part of his firefighting responsibilities he taught firefighting techniques at the Academy & various fire districts, and was an exempt firefighter for the Mendon Fire Dept. He was an artist who was recognized with many accolades. In his retirement he was able to share his skills as an Instructor for 20 years at the JCC. He also loved his other hobbies of hunting, fishing and visits to the casinos. 


Friends may call MONDAY (11/20/17) from 4:30-9:00pm at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services of Victor Inc. (301 W. Main St. - Victor). His Funeral Service will be held TUESDAY 11am at St. Mark Lutheran Church (18 Victor Mendon Rd. Mendon 14506). Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Victor
