Obituary of Tom Haring

Tom’s greatest love in life was being a father to Jaclyn. A bond between father and daughter had no rival. They vacationed together took in concerts together and Tom gave Jaclyn his love and appreciation for good food and fine wine.
Tom enjoyed a great meal at a fine restaurant or the graces of his kitchens. If you ever shared a meal with Tom that he created, you no doubt enjoyed the food and company and the accompanying tale of how he masterfully prepared the evenings fare with just the right wine pairing.
Tom was a fan of all thing’s soccer; his foremost passion was Chelsea FC and Bayern Munich. He followed the US National teams and hung on every game of every tournament. He new the field conditions the crowd interaction and the proper vintage wine or hand-crafted beer for the game.
When life allowed, Tom could be found on the golf course with anyone who would play along side him or alone if need be. Afterwards the nineteenth hole was the watering hole of choice for a tasty adult beverage.
Even though he resided in NY, he was no traitor to his beloved Philly sports teams, Tom was born in the shadows of the stadiums of Philadelphia in 1958. He grew a fan of the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles and made frequent trips back to attend games in the new stadiums.
Most recently Tom was performing his duties as Flyers GM in Abstention, preparing for the NHL draft, he was mildly amused by the recent trades and prospects that would be available.
Predeceased by his parents Walter and Elizabeth Haring and his brother Walter Thomas Haring
He is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn; Brothers, Michael, Brian and David; Nieces and Nephews, Christopher, Stephanie, Gregory, Aimee and Thomas David;
Great Nephews, Vincenzo, Antonio, Aiden and James Jr.
