Dr. Glenn B. Piper, Sr., DDS
Victor: Passed away on Friday March 1, 2019 at age 90. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Blanche L. (Pentz) Piper. He is survived by his children, Dr. Jan (Andrew) Glasgow, Cindy (David) Toth, Dr. Glenn (Cindy) Piper Jr., Dr. Heidi (Dr. Jay Yates) Piper, Lisa Stanley; grandchildren, Corrie (Christopher) Anderson, Danielle (David) Wolf, Chelsea (Peter) Obourn, Nathan Glasgow, David (Jessica) Toth, Bucky (Jennifer) Piper, Kaitlyn Oliver, Allison (Colin) Hartford, Alexander Glasgow, MacKenzie (Alan) Christensen, Paige Yates, Tristan Yates, Camryn Yates; great grandchildren, Daniel Anderson, Calder & Beckett Wolf, Isaac & Owen Toth; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Dr. Piper attended Grove City College, University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry and served as a dentist in the US Army. He practiced dentistry in the Pittsford area for over 35 years. Together he and his wife made many humanitarian trips to Central America to serve with the Christian Medical Society. Glenn dedicated his life to his beloved wife, children and grandchildren. Papa and Mimi enjoyed many coast to coast motorhome adventures with their children and grandchildren creating lifelong memories for all involved. Always a lover of the outdoors, he was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and exploring on his tractor. Together they leave us with a rich history of family gatherings at home, in Cape Cod and Florida. Most importantly Papa and Mimi were models of their Christian faith through devotion, service and generosity to others.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 1PM at the Pittsford Community Church, 421 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
