Obituary of Sean Vincent Raia

Sean Vincent Raia, born March 19, 1994, died suddenly October 22, 2018. Sean will always be remembered for his larger than life  personality. He was a friend to all that knew him. His brilliance was almost as amazing as his crazy sense of humor, his quirky ways,  his eccentric behaviors, and his warm, loving presence. He was a gentle giant, kind and sweet, yet aloof and wise. Sean said if he were reincarnated, he would come back as a crow, because “they were ,”sassy birds”. Sean had an appreciation for all people, their uniqueness and individuality. Sean loved computers from a very young age and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Gannon University. Sean loved music and hiking, eating and coffee. The world has been left a better place for having had Sean even for such a short amount of time. His life motto was, “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good”. Sean has left a hole in the hearts of all whom he has left behind; his fiancé Alyssa Haugh, his brother Alexander Raia, his sister Nina Raia, his mother and step father Theresa and Sean Adams, father Vincent Raia his fiancé Amy Goodrich, grandmother Marilyn Raia-Gordon, grandparents Elizabeth and Chuck Branch, grandfather Armando Coimbra, all of his friends and family. Calling hours will be Friday, October 26th from 4-7 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor, 301 West Main St., Victor, NY. Sean wanted a celebration of his life, “Irish Wake Style”, which will be immediately following. Details will be available at calling hours.
