Clara Carra (Jerzak)

Mendon - Suddenly on August 28, 2018 at age 96. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Carra Sr.; son, Joseph P. Carra Jr.; sister, Eleanor (Edward) Ogrodowski; brothers, Edward Jerzak, John Jerzak, Victor Jerzak, Isadore Jerzak, Valerian (Genevieve) Jerzak; sister-in-law, Lee Jerzak. She is survived by her daughter, Judy and her husband, Craig Donaldson; grandchildren, Judy Wolf and her husband, Kevin Volo, Andrea Macaluso and her husband, Jeff Macaluso; great grandchildren, Chase, Olivia and Max; brother, Francis Jerzak; sisters-in-law, Frances (William) Bowe, Josephine Carra, Jeannette Carra; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Clara was born in Morris Run, PA on September 23, 1921. She married Joseph Carra in 1948 and they had 2 children, Joe Jr. and Judy. Clara retired after 32 years of service from the Randolph Children's Home (now called New Directions Youth and Family Services). In 1992, Joe and Clara moved to Mendon, NY.

Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor (301 W. Main Street, Victor, NY 14564) on FRIDAY (8/31/18) from 2-6 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Catherine of Siena Church (26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, NY 14506) on SATURDAY (9/1/18) at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Victor, NY. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to St. Catherine of Siena Church or New Directions Youth and Family Services (356 Main Street, Randolph, NY 14772) in her memory.
